Avoiding Fits and Getting Out the Door

Recently, we’ve been struggling to get to daycare on time. The battle changes from putting on clothes to doing hair. I’m desperate for something to bring more order to our morning and since Charlotte is such a routine oriented child, I’m hoping these cards will bring more peace to our mornings.

To make them I created a quick page of boxes on google slides, then copy and pasted in some free images I liked from google. You could also add real pictures of your child doing the task.  Next, I typed in a simple word or phrase to describe the task, printed the cards, laminated them, and stuck some magnet tape on the back. My plan is to have the cards on the fridge in the morning and as each task is completed, the card can be put in a basket.
